ERASMUS+ Project 2021-2023

The project « CreaYouth – European Music Link » encourages a digital and in-person musical exchange for musicians under 30 – half of whom are socially disadvantaged. These shared experiences are based on collective musical creations and the initiation to different European cultures. 4 structures from 4 European countries are involved: Slovenia (SIGIC – Slovenski Glasbenoinformacijski Center), North Macedonia (Youth Council Next Generation), Spain (Taller d’Art, Cultura i Creació) and France (Topophone).

Our Project

Main Events:
digital creation

The digital creation phase prior to each of the 4 events. For 2 months, the participants produce their musical creations online using shared digital tools.

Main Events:
from digital to real

The 4 events encourage the gathering of the
participants and collective musical creation : they reinforce their skills and knowledge. The musical productions should include the cultural specificities of each country.

Transnational
Meetings

Transnational Meetings are taking place at the end of the 2 months of digital creation, as a closing of the digital phase.

Context

4 European structures have agreed on the need to develop an innovative project that combines the dimensions of artistic development, European cooperation and encounters between different cultures, while overcoming isolation and economic difficulties linked to language, cultural barriers and travel restrictions in a context of crisis.

The CreaYouth project has been funded by the Erasmus+ Programme (2014-2020), the EU Programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. Building on the success of the programme in the period 2014-2020, the new Erasmus+ Programme is set for the period 2021-2027.
